Digital Classicist Podcasts

From the Digital Classicists at King's College London

"Dear all,

This summer's Digital Classicist/Institute for Classical Studies Work in Progress Seminar series is now about half-way through,

and the first several audio recordings of the proceedings are now available as part of the Digital Classicist Podcast.
You can find a list of all seminars in this series, along with links for those that have audio and/or presentations uploaded, at:

http://www.digitalclassicist.org/wip/wip2008.html

Or you can subscribe to the podcast feed itself by pointing your RSS aggregator, iTunes subscription, aut sim., at:

http://www.digitalclassicist.org/wip/seminar.xml

We should welcome ideas for further events to add to this podcast series, and/or partnerships to podcast the results of seminar

series of interest to Digital Classicists in the future.

regards
Simon and Gabriel"

2000 miles to Athens on a bicycle

Jean-Pierre Adamson, one of our shelvers in 2008, is cycling from Britain to Greece where he will study at the British School at Athens. He is writing a blog of his adventures which you can follow at the link below.

We wish him best of luck, especially over the Alps and hope that there is a cold beer waiting for him in Athens!

Entry turnstile

On Monday the card reader on the entry turnstile (and the computer board underneath) was replaced. So far, it's working well.
You should find it much easier to come in now!
