The Library is maintained jointly with the Societies for the Promotion of Hellenic and Roman Studies and in association with the Institute of Classical Studies (University of London). It contains over 130,000 volumes, 22,000 bound volumes of periodicals, thereby bringing the overall total to almost 152,000 volumes. The Library has an international reputation as one of the world’s foremost Classics libraries.

New Byzantine periodical
The Library now receives Acta Byzantina Fennica as part of the Institute of Classical Studies' exchange with The Finnish Society for Byzantine Studies. The annual journal covers scholarship in Late Antiquity (Greek), Byzantine, Modern Greek and Ottoman Studies. We have from N.s. 1, 2002, onwards.

Archeologia Aerea
Archeologia Aerea is a new periodical for the Joint Library. The first issue, 1 (2004), is subtitled Studi di aerotopografia archeologica. No. 2 was published in 2007 so hopefully it will arrive soon.

New periodical
The Joint Library now subscribes to Notiziario della Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici del Friuli Venezia Giulia from 1/2006. It covers archaeological research from the Italian regions of Pordenone, Udine, Gorizia and Trieste.

New journal on Pompeii
The Joint Library now takes Quaderni di Studi Pompeiani. The first issue, 1 (2007), is now on the 'current' periodical shelves. It is published by the Associazione Internazionale Amici di Pompei.

New periodical - Groma
The Joint Library now receives Groma, from v. 1 (2007), as part of the exchange with the archaeology department of the Università degli Studi di Bologna. It is a publication of the Centro Studi per l'Archeologia dell'Adriatico and is concerned with the archaeology of Piceno, Dalmatia and Epirus.

New periodical - AΛΣ
The Joint Library now subscribes to the periodical 'AΛΣ' the publication of the Society for the Promotion of Studies on Prehistoric Thera. See their website at http://theranstudies.santorini.net/index.php?id=311. At the moment we have issues 1-3 (2003-05). Articles are mainly in Greek with the odd article or summaries available in English - it varies with each issue.
